Who can join WVU Connect?

Alumni, former students, current students, faculty, staff, and friends of WVU are all welcome to join WVU Connect.

What are the benefits of join WVU Connect?

WVU Connect is an exclusive professional networking platform populated entirely by Mountaineers. WVU Connect also offers a mentorship program that allows interested members to sign up to mentor users who would like some assistance in a variety of topics.

How do I sign up?

Visit wvuconnect.com and click the link that says “Get Started”. You can sign up with your email, Facebook, or LinkedIn account. After your application is approved – usually after two or three days – you will have access to WVU Connect.

How does WVU Connect help me get hired?

WVU Connect allows you to post on the feed with any questions, job inquiries, and greetings, so get yourself out there. The mentorship program also helps to give you a leg up on your competition thanks to the insight of more experienced professionals.

How do I participate in the mentorship program?

On the home page, find the menu on the left. Click the ‘Mentoring’ link and select what you would like to learn about. You will also be asked if you would like to either mentor or be mentored when you make your account, but this can be changed at any time.

How do I delete my account on WVU Connect?

If you decide to delete your WVU Connect account, you can do so anytime by clicking “Delete Account” under your Account Settings.
