The Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh

“The best part of my job is working with the kids. You just get to play all day and document it.”

Cori McCulloch is the New Media Producer at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh. Every day she produces new photos and videos for the museum to market upcoming exhibits and events.  But, while playing with young learners all day is fun, McCulloch says the museum has something for everyone.

“The thing I love most about the children’s museum is that I think it’s really an art museum disguised for kids. There are things in every exhibit that babies and toddlers can play with as well as their older brothers and sisters as well as their parents. “

After graduating from WVU with a degree in journalism in 2014, McCulloch just knew she wanted to tell stories, and her position at the Children’s Museum of Pittsburgh became a dream come true.

“I started out wanting to be a documentary filmmaker, I knew that I wanted to share stories…this was a match made in heaven. I’m passionate about learning about people and sharing that with the world. I get to do that and not be grown-up every day, which I love.”
