Bob Bentz is a 1981 graduate of the School of Journalism at WVU. After completing his MBA in marketing, he worked in the television advertising business at WDTV in Clarksburg and then at WTNH and WFSB in Connecticut. In 1989, he started his own business, Advanced Telecom Services, which grew to $62.2 million in annual sales with international offices in Philadelphia, Toronto, London, Prague, and Taipei. He is currently the president of mobile-first digital agency Purplegator and an adjunct at the University of Denver where he teaches the graduate level course in mobile marketing. Bob recently completed his second book, RELEVANCE RAISES RESPONSE: How to Engage and Acquire with Mobile Marketing which is available for sale at the WVU Bookstore and at RelevanceRaisesResponse.com, Amazon, and other fine online book retailers. On football weekends, you'll find Bob tailgating at all of the Mountaineers' home games in the Blue Lot near C3.
