ABOUT THE CHAPTER
On behalf of the WVU Alumni Association, we would like to invite you to join the Emerald Coast Chapter, your connection to West Virginia, and our great Mountaineer Nation!
Our activities include football and basketball game watches, community service projects, and other events that help those who live along the Emerald Coast stay connected to WVU. We are always happy to meet WVU grads, WV natives, or just friends of the State of West Virginia. Our goal is to have fun and make new friends while promoting West Virginia University!
Emerald Coast Chapter members live in the Florida Panhandle area - with emphasis on Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa, Walton, and Bay counties (which include Pensacola, Pensacola Beach, Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, and Panama City). We also invite Mountaineers who live in south Alabama communities located in Baldwin, Escambia and Mobile counties - such as Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, and Mobile. Graduates or former students of WVU, Mountaineer fans or any individual who is interested in the University may become active members of this chapter.
