The WVU Alumni Association supports a variety of chapters and interest groups to help Mountaineers stay connected to their WVU experience, wherever they might be. While the chapters refer to groups in specific geographic regions, alumni interest groups exist globally and connect WVU alumni who share a similar experience, identity or interest. Alumni interest groups include the WVU Alumni Band, the Black Alumni Association and the Alumni Cheerleaders, to name a few.

If you’d like to start a new alumni interest group, please contact our Executive Director of Alumni Engagement, Meridith Balas, at Meridith.Balas@mail.wvu.edu. Meridith provides support to the chapters and interest groups worldwide and is eager to help connect Mountaineers in any way she can.
