ABOUT THE CHAPTER

Welcome to the “WVU Lone Star Chapter”, the Houston area alumni chapter for West Virginia University. Despite our long distance from Morgantown, we are an active alumni chapter connecting nearly 1,000 Houston area WVU alumni, and countless West Virginia friends and family. Our annual activities include football and basketball game watches, community service events, high school recruiting, and several other events and tasks that help Houstonians stay connected to WVU. Our largest event is the annual WVU Lone Star Chapter Shrimp Boil, where the Houston faithful can meet with visitors from Morgantown to feast in gulf coast style. We are always happy to meet WVU grads, WV natives, or just friends of our beautiful state. Go Mountaineers!
