ABOUT THE CHAPTER

The Utah WVU Alumni Chapter was born when two WVU alumni met by chance at a bar in Salt Lake City for a Mountaineer game. Since then, it has grown steadily as more from the Mountain State have made their way west to larger mountains. Most of us have a love for outdoor activities, and winter sports, but that is by no means a requirement. We welcome anyone looking for others from the Mountaineer Nation. Chapters promote the fellowship and welfare of WVU alumni, students, parents of students, and friends of the University in their geographic region. WVU Alumni chapter members have the opportunity to participate in several social events throughout the year, including televised game watches, recruitment of new WVU students, trips to football games and other athletic activities, local events, charity benefits, or community service opportunities.
