After graduating from West Virginia University in 1960, DeProspero went on to become a teacher and wrestling coach before making a transition to the United States Secret Service.
Robert DeProspero is a former assistant director and special agent in charge of the Presidential Protective Division, United States Secret Service. Mr. DeProspero was responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating and directing the protection of U.S. presidents and members of their family. He was assigned to protect former Presidents Eisenhower, Johnson, Ford, Carter and Reagan.

Robert says he never forgets the impact WVU made on his life and is always proud to be a Mountaineer.
